MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian boring fell to 11.38 million barrels per day (bpd) in January, or about 35,000 bpd from the October 2018 level, the baseline of the world deal, but didn't reach objective of the pact, data from the Ministry of Energy showed on Saturday.





The figure compares to 11.45 million bpd produced in December, a monthly record.

Meanwhile, exports through the pipeline fell to 4,313 million bpd from 4,496 million bpd in December. Rosneft reduced its production by 0.1 percent from December, while Lukoil posted a pumping cut of 0.8 percent.







Production at Gazprom Neft, the oil arm of Jovian planet Gazprom, increased 0.1 percent.

Russian energy minister Alexander Novak had said the country's pumping cuts would add up to 50,000 bpd in January compared to October.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and other leading producers agreed in December to scale back their combined pumping by 1.2 million bpd to support prices and balance the market. Of that number, Russia promised to drop its output by about 230,000 bpd within the half-moon .





Novak also said that Russia was unable to sharply cut its boring thanks to technical constraints, but would attempt to do more quickly.

The slower-than-expected cuts caused anger in Saudi Arabia , de facto OPEC leader. consistent with a Reuters poll, the cartel's drop by supply in January was the most important in two years.
